Pacquiao is going to shut Margarito down with his speed. Pacquiao will land 3-4 punches to Margarito's 1...I can see Pacquiao braking Margarito down before vise versa.

 

Margarito needs an opponent to be not-so mobile for him put his uppercuts and bodyshots to full effect. If Pacquiao is to perfectly implement the strategy we think he will - constant movement - then he'll make things pretty difficult for Tony. But if Pac decides he wants to be all macho and trade, then Margarito fill find much more success.

 

Yep, whether Pacquiao's punches seem to have no effect on Margarito or not...it's accumulation. Accumulation takes it's toll on any boxer.

 

A slower fight will hurt Margo's chances. He needs to turn this into a war. That is pretty much the thinking of Ronnie Shields. If Margo only throws 50 punches a round he is going to lose. If he throws 90 punches a round, he is probably going to win.

Roach thinks Margo is shot and that's why this fight has been made. If Margo is the same Margo pre-Cotto, Paq is going to be in serious trouble. As for the handwraps, no one, including Williams and Cintron, have every proclaimed that he had loaded gloves. In fact, Williams has publically said that they were not loaded. As opposed to both Vargas and Joppy coming out later and saying that Tito's were loaded post-Hopkins.

Paq's plan would never be to stand and trade with Margo. That's what Margo want's him to do. But I could be wrong. I never thought Diaz would stand and box with Noons.

 

Margos best chance to win is to corner pac and throw plenty of body shots early to slow him down for the later rounds, coupled withthis he also needs to throw the long uppercut and hook of his but not occasionally all the time be in his face and push maul and make this dirty.

problem is pac aint cotto and if you remeber while rthat is the best marg we have ever seen he made cotto quit he never knocked him out, pac has better mental strentgh better conditioning and better speed to outbox marg, and the benefit that marg aint at his best anymore.

 

Margarito is not fast enough to do anything to Pac´s hand and footspeed... Only way to win this for Margo,is to try to make Pac slower by bodyattack... But Margarito aint fast enough,and he can´t knock Pac out with one shot.
I think pacquiao will get hit a little bit more than in the Cotto fight.But Margarito will end up like Cotto IMO...Thats why they put Pac in the ring with the much bigger Margo.He dosent have a knock out punch,and he is not fast enough to deal with the foot and hand speed... See what Mosley´s speed did to margarito.Margo will not be able to avoid getting hit with flurries of punches.IMO..

 

What makes people think that Pac is going to outbox's Margo and go 12 rounds without being hit. Did anyone see his last fight ,where Clottey threw 20 punches the whole fight and his face was a mess and now he's fighting at a higher weight and some think that Pac is not going to get hit at all .

Here's how its going down if Pac doesn't stop Margo within 5rd and the fight is close then we all know that Pac will lose this one because he does get hit and he will be KO.
And I believe that Pac will break his hands this fight, being that Margo his a heavier fighter.

One of the reason that Jr Mw fight with 10oz is for protections of the fist.

they are fighting with 8oz gloves ,when they should be using 10oz for a Championship bout in which he wont defend as his other belts....Does anyone see whats going on here or is it just me.

 

You wont neccesarilly break your hands because the opponent is heavier it depends on your hand wraps and how brittle/broken before.

I can't really see margarito winning but if he does do so it will be through wearing pacquaio out. Pac i imagine will fight very similar to the early rounds against oscar. Coming in with rapid flurries of punches from all angles then on the move again before margarito can respond. I don't see margarito having enough skill to really catch pac that often though pac is open to the straight right and uppercut when he forays in.

Margarito has to stay positive like he did in the cotto fight and any time he can corner pacquaio he needs to go to work, especially to the body and slow him up as much as possible so that the longer the fight goes the more pressure he can put on. Margarito only advantage is his strength and he needs to be physically imposing on pac at every oppurtunity

 

Pac will break his hands because Margo weighs about 10 pounds more than Pac´s latests opponents???:huh
