im 15. Today in sparring i sparred with this dude he has alot more fights than me. I been watching alot of Prince naseem hamed lately. So as the first sarted i kept my hands up and moved my head but as we kept going i dropped my hands and start fighting like Naz. I jumped off my feet and hit the dude with a hook and he went down and did not get up so i stood over him just looking. My trainer says it was bad and why was i trying to fight like Naz. Then he went on saying naz was not any good. I know i press the attack being a Heavyweight someday. But man i love Naz.
it can be fun doing the ingle style but not many trainers will promote it, but hey im sure you didnt mean to KO him.
He did pretty much everything a trainer will tell you not to do....but it worked for him. I can't see a trainer being happy with the TS, but it was one day of sparring so he'll get over it.
do whatever works.. Not everone has the Perfect Golf swing, but if it goes straight and far everytime, then dont change it!
It can be fun being a Naz wannabe, especially when you're on the receiving end of a haymaker of biblical proportion. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJPesST-skg[/ame]
There's nothing wrong with exploring different styles. The more you experiment, the more you'll find what works for you personally and you'll develop your own style. Sometimes it takes alot of impersonation and trial and error to find out what you should be doing. Many times, you don't end up fighting like you envisioned.
i never understood why people try and fight like other fighters! just get in that ring remember what youve been taught and let your body fight naturally, always been the best way ive found, throw the punch you wanna throw and just let it be thrown dont think 'oh i wanna jab right now, but i wanna jab like a klitschko' aint gonna work
