    ROBERTO DURAN

    WINS

    Ernesto Marcel (Super Feather)

    Ken Buchanon (Lightweight)

    Jimmy Robertson (Lightweight)

    Guts Ishimatsu (Lightweight)

    Carlos Palomino (Welterweight)

    Ray Leonard (Welterweight)

    Luigi Minchillo (Light Middleweight)

    Pipino Cuevas (Light Middleweight)

    Davey Moore (Light Middleweight)

    Iran Barkley (Middleweight)

    Jorge Castro (Super Middleweight)

    LOSSES

    Esteban De Jesus

    Ray Leonard

    Wilfred Benitez

    Kirkland Laing

    Marvin Hagler

    Thomas Hearns

Robbie Sims (Roberto Duran is way past prime from here on out) (Roberto has 9 more losses but

no need to name them since way past prime)

HELL NO, this does not ****en qualify for a top 10 resume. Someone on here had Duran at number 3 or something ALL TIME and Ali at like 10.

Roberto Duran doesn't even qualify for top 30, i'm ****en dead serious everyone overrates him.

Duran was a great boxer and very entertaining and has one of the best wins of all time against a prime Leonard but HE IS NO WHERE ****EN CLOSE TO TOP 10. NO ****EN WAY.

I dare someone argue with me because there is no one else worth mentioning on his resume.

You're on point. Your elementary, one track minded, Boxrec assessment of his career blows away the credibility of anyone else to rank Duran in the top 10, including every major historian. Good for you.:good

Oh, is there a reason why his wins against De Jesus don't count...but his loss to him does?

    Esteban was never that good.

Sorry to upset you guys but it's true Duran belongs no where in the top 10.

You can't just review a boxers career by video, u have to use Boxrec to get the real truth about each opponent.....it's true.

I think Roberto Duran gets a bit overrated here espicily in the head to head department. So I never thought I'd say this on the classic boxing forum at ESB. (drum roll) "You underrate Roberto Duran"

No he's not. If they could fight I'd win a lot of money here.

Mayweather would test his chin, unlike glass-handed fraud Leonard but more like equally powerful Thomas Hearns. Might even knock Duran out. I mean, he almost stopped the more iron-jawed Mosley on accumulation of pinpoint accurate rights.

Duran does have an overrated legacy, take away his win over leonard and he wouldn't even crack the top 20 of all times. Robinson, Greb, Langford, Ali, Armstrong, Ezzard Charles, Willie Pep all have better resumes, so no way is he a top 5 fighter of all times.

Take away Charles' wins over Moore, Louis and Burley and he wouldn't be, either.

Yeah ur asking to take away a total of 6 wins, instead of just one. On top of that Ezzard still has the better resume, hes just greater.
