Not at 130-140 and 154...at 130 he fought everyone..at 135 he fought one of the best Lightweights available in Jose Luis Castillo...at 140 He was callin for fights with Rickky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, and Tszu...None of em wanted no parts..They tried to get the Tszu fight done but couldn't cuz of network differences...Floyd is loyal to HBO and Tszu is loyal to showtime....at 154 Oscar at the time was the best 154 lb fighter...Vernon was coming off a controversial win over Quartay and Spinks had a big fight with Taylor coming up shortly after Mayweather De La Hoya........again he didn't cherrypick his way through the divisions:deal

Here is the problem I have with what your saying...When does it end??? If Floyd would have fought Margo, and Cotto then retired people would be saying that he ducked Berto, and Williams. If Calzaghe would have fought Dawson and a rematch with Kessler people would say that he ducked a rematch with hopkins and ducked Pavlik..Problem with HATERS is its always the guy that the fighter didnt fight that would have beat him. If a guy wants to retire why cant they retire??? Whenever a fighter doesnt get his ass kicked in the ring he cant retire without being labeled a ducker or a coward..

Truth about boxing is you cant fight everyone, no fighter ever has, nor will any fighter ever. You could go thoughout the history of boxing a say that every fighter ever didnt fight someone.

Get it a rest its getting old, Joe is retired, Floyd is retired if they come back then we can talk about who they should be fighting.:bart
