Well Hennessys last fight on ITV is this Saturday what does the future hold for Hennessy Sport fighters now? Yes Froch will be ok no matter what happends and maybe John Murray if he can get in with Hatton Promotions. If Mick doesn't get some sort of deal for his fighters on a tv station or is not already in talks I feel for his stable of fighters there at the moment. We could be seeing the end of 1 of the major players in boxing in the UK if he cant get something sorted out quick. Yes Tyson Fury may have a offer from Brian Peters to fight in Ireland at a push and Darren Barker should get a few offers by other promoters on Sky but for the rest were will they go.

I know people will bring up Primetime but for these undercard fighters it is a no go and nobody knows if they will still be around next year. I think for the sake of his fighters Hennessy should go crawling back to Sky and hope they take him and his fighters back. Its his only way to get his fighters a spotlight they need.

Sky is the only likely saviour unless ITV make a miraculous U-turn and have big change of heart

But with Warren, Maloney, Hearn, Hatton and you could also include Haye in that, I'm not so sure Sky will make an offer to Hennessy. It'll be interesting to see what happens though

Is there any chance of one of the smaller sky channels starting to show boxing? Bravo maybe? They used to show UFC.

reckon he will do £5 primtime cards from now on. perhaps even £10 double domestic title bills. its bad but its the way the sport is going so get used to it.

btw his john o'donnell card is going to be on ITV. Dec 19

No all that will happen is that Hennesey sports will no longer exist.

I don't think Sky will step in, he doesn't make right fights at the right time.

Murray vs Thaxton was a year too late, Barker vs Elcock could have been made as well during that time, instead of Barker kicking his heels and Elcock taking a beating from Macklin.

The fighters do seem remarkably loyal though, especially Froch - maybe there is more to it?

I cant see anyone paying to watch a domestic bill it makes no sense in Hennessy to fork out whatever amount of money for the live feed add on top of that the fees for fighters and the a presenter , commentry team and all other stuff. He will be at a lost time and time again. Some of his fighters are lucky to fill out the arenas they fight in so I think the numbers who would order a fight from any of his fighters will be slim no matter what price they put the fight on for.

primetime cards for a £5 would be worth it but he needs to stack his cards. Fury, Murray, Witter, literally everyone he has on the card.

I would not pay £5 for this weekends ITV fight. Without Froch heading the bill he has no chance of putting of a card worth a ppv.

Why would anyone seriously believe that sticking domestic shows on Primetime for £5 would work?

Don't get me wrong, I'm one of those sad gits who buys EVERY PPV and no doubt I'll buy a Hennessey one as well, BUT, when I said that they would fail I meant that the general public, those who tuned into Haye and will tune into Khan, will not buy it.

He needs to stay on free to air tv at best or, in the worse case scenraio, a decent satalite station.
