We all know boxing is at a all-time low, forget Golden Boy Promotions and all that jazz. You can tell a decline in a sport, simply by walking around on the streets, being around every day people. Boxing no more at street level is a big topic, no more is a weekly discussion. Floyd Mayweather is one of very few current fighters that maybe the average joe/non boxing fans knows of. He is a item....

I just feel that his retirement, is some kind of a plan. A sick and twisted plan, boxing is a sport. But it is also a show business, and the worst thing that can happen to a business man in this game. Is for people to stop caring and not talk about you, the cold hard facts have come to light over this past year Floyd Mayweather has been retired. People do care, people do talk about him. Weather they are 90% haters and 10% lovers that's perfect. I believe Floyd Mayweather is the most hated man in boxing but also has his very own special fan base.

When he does make a comeback...

    It's gonna break all records...

doubtful its some kind of master plan..... he probably just wanted a break...dude has been training for 80% of his life.... if history shows us anything, he will come back...hagler, lewis are really the only guyss that come to mind who retired and meant it (marciano too i guess, but he was pretty much done after 49 fights)
