I would say so but i could be wrong. he looks more chisled around everywhere

its probably been the most productive camp because he hasnt had to focus on losing weight this time

Physical condition? He looks fit and lean, but that might not mean much when the bell rings.

Mental condition? He seems depressed and lacking in confidence. I get the impression he doesn't really want to go through with this fight, but it's too late to do anything about it.

I think his mental condition is far more of a factor than his physical condition.

Would be staggering if it was and would defy the laws of nature.

Every boxer has always had a great camp, is always in the best condition of their life etc. Before the fight that is.

Here is the thing that stands out to me.

In the Pre fight presser a couple of days out from the Pac fight, and well.. most of Rickys last few fights he looked pale, gaunt and ill, it was a regular thing

I remember my dad, who doesn't watch boxing and is in no way biased, watched a clip on the news and said that Hatton "looked like a cancer patient"

Well for this one, he looks healthy and in shape.

It's clear that his body is more used to the weight than normal, and though he will be a little skinny on the scales, I don't think he will be weight drained.

I belive Ricky was WEIGHT DRAINED for most of his fights post Tzsyu

5-1 on Ricky getting stopped are pretty good odds imo.

I think the complete oppisite i think he thinks he can come back and win a world title or challenge Pacquiao again because that seems to the defeat/Ko thats bugging him the most, he feels stupid about being but flat on his back but if he rematches him after a couple of come back fights it will happen again and i cant see him beating anyone world class again, he may fight Kahn or Malinaggi and do ok but hes never guna beat anyone decent again

i think he looks awful to be honest. seeing his appearence at the press confrence made me go with a senchenko late stoppage win.

I'm not sure I'll bet on a Senchenko stoppage win, but his body language looks all wrong to me.

I'm a big fan of Ricky's and was in a way quite keen to see if he could confound convention and come back ..until I saw the 'Road to Redemption' programme on C5 the other night.

It's been said on other threads, but I was shocked that he appeared to be slurring his words, he didn't really seem completely compus mentus if you know what I mean. He's clearly physically fit, he's clearly motivated, but at 34, with what he's done in the last few years and if he is a bit punchy, it's got disaster written all over it. His words were slower, he didn't have that old spark in his eyes, he wasn't smiling at all, cracking the old **** jokes etc - it wasn't the same person.

I hope he comes through it without getting badly stopped...
