Many thanks. Although I don't think it necessarily makes me legendary just refusing to bow to the pissy petty wishes of some really weird internet kids who take avatar bets as a matter of life and death - especially accidental and unwitting avatar bets. **** them all!
Not when there is still a Sonnen rematch and a possible GSP superfight on the horizon, IMO both of which are as meaningful, lucrative and challenging as any fights at 205. As I said when people said Nick Diaz was ducking Mayhem Miller, you can't duck someone who isn't even in your division. If Silva can still comfortably make 185, why shouldn't he keep his ATG title run going? Lyoto Machida is up next for Jon Jones, and then both Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans are next for the winner of that fight. Silva moving up further congests an already stacked division, and leaves 185 for Sonnen to dominate, something which I'm sure Silva would never want to happen. Maybe once Anderson has ****ed Sonnen up properly and beaten his great rival for best UFC champion of his generation GSP, I'd like to see him fight Dan Henderson at 205, but I don't see any immediate need for him to go there just now. Silva vs Belfort II is also as good a fight as any available to Silva at 205, Belfort was rusty as hell last time, although I think Anderson masters him again it'd be explosive and interesting to see how Belfort's power-boxing does v the Spider.
