too invasive? these guys are being paid multi millions of dollars, so they spend a few hours with some testers and give blood to ASSURE a fair fight, and its too much?

Not IMO, i think its the right thing and glad to see these two set the example.

you compared them to the 24/7 team so any fighter that has 24/7 crew there cant be affected by two testers

The job of the 24/7, is very different to the job of the drug testing duo. I've never spent the day with each of them, so I can't tell you exactly what those differences are. But what I do know is that even Shane (who unlike you and I, has experience with both), stated how it could bother some fighters

I've got no medical experience, but apparently it takes 24 hours to replenish 1 pint (568ml or 1/8 gallon). Judging by the amount in the pictures, probably about 2 hours until he's full again.

the thing is you get used to it like mosley said aswell you have a camera crew with you all day and your ontarage , the testers turn up then alow a cooling down period of two hours after the workout then do here thing

they could be there for 8 hours not in the way but there or just 10 minutes

Not a great idea. There would be too much unecessary testing going on. There is not the same regularity of competition in boxing as other seasonal sports, so the USADA would end up constantly testing guys who aren't even active. Imagine being inactive for a year, but you still have to get random tests all the time. I'd be pissed.

Random testing during training camp is more than enough.

Firstly Mayweather is not doing this for the good of the sport, he is doing this for mindgames over Pacquiao.

Tho it is undeniable that if this is implemented for all big fights then it will only be good for the sport and that boxers in future will learn to have this done as part of their training.

Paulie said before the Cotto fight that he didn't think Manny could win, but if he did he might be the "greatest of all time", then when it happened he bought up drugs.

It really depends on when the tests were taken and how much time is given for an individual to recover. If four vials of blood are taken in let's say about 1 or 2 hours then that is a bit much and I don't expect anyone to easily carry out such task. You have to realize the show is NOT live. It is edited therefore we may not see everything that takes place. And the things that are visible to the eye can be misleading. For all we know the four vials could've been accumulated over a span of two days and repeat procedure may occur every 4 or 5 days which sounds reasonable to me.

I'm still very confident the extra blood tests do more good than harm. I will keep an open mind though. I think if Floyd's procedure becomes the norm in Boxing we'll see whether it succeeds or crashes depending on the majority of boxers' reaction to it. So far I haven't heard any boxer complain about extra blood tests with the exception of Manny Pacquiao. Key players such as Victor Conte and Dr. Margaret Goodman are all for it. I like to think majority rules.
