Seems to me like there is a very clear, virtually non debatable top 8 hws and then everyone else.

Fury Wlad AJ top three for obvious reasons. Povetkin, few would deny his resume, only lost to wlad. Wilder, unbeaten belt holder who only beat one top ten hw but beat at least a half dozen top twenty guys, many more than anyone not on this list. Parker, who is an unbeaten belt holder and who beat a fringe top ten hw and a couple top 20 to 30 guys. Pulev who only lost to Wlad and who beat two friend top ten guys and a couple top twenty guys. Ortiz who beat a fringe top 5 guy at the time and a couple top 15ish hws.

Who else has a combination of still relevant wins and lack of losses who can come remotely close to these guys? Whyte? One debatable win over a possibly shot, fringe top 15 hw and a decent losing performance against AJ. Nope. Takam? One fringe top ten win, a fringe top 15 draw, and competitive losses to two non champs? Nope. Stiverne? I give his resume more credit than most, but only had wins over one fringe top ten hw, a fringe top 20 hw, and hasn't won a major fight in well over three years. Uh uh.

I'm not sure if there has ever been this big a gap between the top 8 or so hw's and everyone else. It also means that if one of the above clears out most of that top 8, it will be a unique accomplishment, a quick jump to ATG status.

AJ Wlad Povetkin Parker Ortiz my.... Top 5

And I begrudgingly add Wilder to round out my top six Lol. I would like to see Andy Ruiz dethrone the overrated, overly-protected Wilder, and he would given chance

The mentally fragile and undisciplined clown known as Fury I will not add until he is the relicensed and legally able to fight

Wlad used to be so many levels above every one else it made them all look like bums. Now that wlad is shot to pieces it gives the impression that there is alot of great fighters around now.

The short answer to that question is - no, not even close.

Vlad, Joshua, Povetkin, Fury, Parker, Ruiz, Ortiz, Wilder does not deserve to be in the top ten, he has never fought a top ten fighter, Stiverne did not deserve to be ranked at all....................five voluntary title defenses in a row, a record! Wilder is a disgrace to boxing, a known fraud..................

Wlad isn't a top heavyweight anymore. Ortiz and Wilder would destroy him. Fury already made a fool out of Wlad. I bet even Browne and Parker could beat Wlad now. Wlad could still beat Pulev, who is awful and also beat Povetkin, since he can just bully him again. Hopefully Wlad retires, since he's only going to be padding young guys records at this point.

I can definitely see that, especially based off of Wilder's destruction of Chris Arreola and Washington.

Then name another era that had 5 to 10 hws so much verifiably easier to rank above the rest of their colleagues. You may be able to make arguments that a couple are close one way or another, but it's not supportable to make the statement that it's not even close.

I criticize Wilder all the time, but to say he's not top ten is completely unsupportable. Name someone outside the top 8 names I mentioned. Your pick. I will then line up their resumes side by side and it will be a complete imbalance to Wilder. It's at least supporable to try and claim he's the weakest of the top 8, anything else is just a joke. Give the devil his due or it just detract from your credibility on other issues.

BS. We'll see in the rematch if he's shot. He puts in the same level of performance and he's got a 50/50 chance of putting the lights out on Joshua or getting a UD. As for Wilder and Ortiz. Ortiz couldn't even put away Scuba Scott and Wilder's glass chin was sent back to Bama as we know.

The OP makes sense, but the problem is that most of these 8 have *'s beside their name due to inactivity, age, mandatory's not taking place, no recent fights against top opposition, etc. Arguably unproven or past their peak.

All fans of the HW division are waiting and waiting for the fights to take place that will bring order to chaos.

Pity there isn't an 8 tournament in play that'll sort things out.

I don't rank Headvetkin in my top 5 or top 10 and I'm finding it much harder to keep Joshua in the top 5 but im forced to since he's a titlist and he did beat 41 year old Wlad I guess. Sounds crazy right? Borderline lunacy, but I'm so old school.

There really isn't a top 5. You have 3 titlist and only one is acting like he's the lineal hvw champion of the world-a ****en trinket holder. The division is so backward right now that Mike Tyson told Joshua that he shouldn't fight Wilder and should fight "the now CW" Mike Perez. And that Pulev and Stiverne are ****en mandatories! That's how screwed up the division is.

Hearn is sitting in the back room right now like how can I make money off of Joshua, I mean how can I make myself and Joshua big bucks? And he doesn't even take a punch.

Fury shouldn't be included on any list, he's at the moment retired.
I think the top 5 of the divison is pretty clearcut for me atleast.

    1. Joshua
    2. Klitscko
    3. Wilder
    4. Povetkin
    5. Parker

After that it gets harder but that's atleast how I rate the top 5. Imo this era is about as top heayv as the last decade was.
