the people that matter know viC aint scared of ****.

besides a win over agbeko + another title @ a higher weight is just as big as a win over nonito whos done **** all since. dont get me wrong, revenge/redemption would be more sweet personally but you cant knock shaw for paving darchi a golden path for his career.

common sense says that donaire seems to need vic more than visa versa and even if viC loses his next fight, donaire will still be an available option.

Essentially spitts is right, Darchinyan has turned his career around and is a bigger name and a bigger star that Donaire is. That'll happen when your promoter keeps you on low budget PPV cards and not throwing you on PPVs. Darchinyan has wins over Mijares (a guy who NOBODY thought could be beaten), Arce (a still capable fighter at a lower level) and if he beats Agbeko that's three top fighters in a row.

Donaire needs Darchinyan and in the worst way.

I know Vic ain't scared of and don't need him, but that don't change the fact tha Gary is the only reason these two haven't had a rematch yet. You can't tell me that Vic don't wanna get that kid in the rind again and beat that ass.

Yeah I agree that his wife is running her mouth a little but ask yourself is she lying or is she speaking the truth.

To many time we the fans are cheated out of good matchups cause this personal bullsh%t gets in the way.

At the end of the day all I'm saying is that Gary Shaw needs to put his personal feelings aside so we the people can see the rematch.

A trilogy would be possible if Vic could win the rematch but he has not shown any improvement that would suggest that he's already capable of beating Nonito!

Or promoters who give him some love.

I mean, he is a great talent. He could ride the pacmania-philipino love train and get some big fights for some big bucks. Hype him up as the next big thing from the phillipines, they should go crazy for it. The marketting should almost take care of itself! Pac has paved the way...

But Donaire is stuck with lousy promoters, one big win, and a wife who sounds pissy that Darchinyan earns more from taking a crap than Nonito does from fighting. (That kinda thing really annoys those trophy wives!)
