    greatest country for producing fighters pound for pound, perhaps in all of history. maybe i'm crazy, its definitely not a longshot though. dont forget about rocky martinez, and mario santiago, who I think should have won that fight with luevano

    glad you can aknowledge it, i sppreciate that, I like Mario Santiago i think he beat Luevano too but go ask the mexicans and see what they say:good

    I don't know where all the problem is, or people just not aware of things about Filipino fighers.

    Calderon can just take a pick, Villoria, Nietes, or a rematch with Mayol. All guys capable of taking his 0 away.

    Carita Lopez has Donaire or Z Gorres. Either one will beat him.

    JuanMa has Concepcion waiting for him when he moves up. Can't comment yet here.

    Lastly, Cotto has Pac.

    Pretty much has a rivalry there.

    Agreed, PR absolutely produces some awesome fighters. I was a HUGE fan of Tito growing up, actually I was force fed that **** by my friends and their families :lol: Not that I minded, Tito was the man. Good times.

    very good point, and I would love to see how some of these fights would ever play out, preferably in the U.S:yep with split, raucos pinoy and boricua crouds rooting on their representatives. Some, if not all of these fights, are tossups in my opinion:bbb

    Good post. I guess I didn't realize how many we really had. I've known about Donaire, Villoria, Bernabe, and recently heard about Mayol. With the exception of Nonito and Brian, I think people just don't realize how good the rest of the crop is just yet.

    honestly boricuas are cool.. they dont quack or talk a lot... i miss the days when pac was fighting mexicans.. it was fun owning the likes of uiliuli and ******s here :D

    this is definitely shaping up to be a rivalry. I don't think this thread would be that long if it weren't the case.

    on another note, I think its a guarantee that within the next 2-3 years, a rivalry between Cuba and PR will emerge in the lower weight divisions, and i'll be happy as hell as a resident of the east coast of the united states, living in one of the heaviest respective cuban and puerto rican populated cities in the world
