Mexican Boxing has taken a hit but it had to happen with legends like Barrera, Morales, JMM aging It's time for the new breed to start taking over they will be fine though Mexican's have a rich boxing culture.

:patsch Many still think that JMM-FM is a joke because of the weight difference. Most people are expecting JMM to lose and it's a win win?? HOW? DOn't tell it's because of the money because everyone knows that JMM is definitely getting ripped off by Fraud Gayweather.

If JMM loses, critics and fans will critize him for taking such a ridiculous fight. No offense to his uber fans.

Could well be. if it's not the worst, it's certainly not a great era.

JMM is flying the flag. If he wins against Floyd, Mexican pride will be high again, but his size disadvantage means it's a tall order. The man has the weight of a nation on his shoulders. Good luck to him.

hmm says... not worst era because the number of notable champions and figures within the last decade or so, but perhaps one of the worst years you can say.

Boom Boom, its definetely on the down side. However, even with the departure of some of their legends, Mexico has such great talent from the minimumweight division to the heayweight division that their current pool would be almost any other country's golden era. There are so many great fighters that its just a matter of time that one of them steps up to the plate and becomes Mexico's next boxing legend. I would definetely not call this Mexico's worst era, just a mild slump before the beast awakens!

it seems that you pissed some mexicans off boom boom.

btw this thread has nothing to do with filipinos hating mexicans. im sure mex boxing will bounce back. but why the **** is boom boom getting flak just by asking an interesting question?

i believe it is not looking that good right now but hey, jmm is number 2.
