Is this true? Green jones undercard

    I very recently heard that the entire undercard have to fund & pay for their own fights.
    My information is that the fighters will not see a cent from entire financial result.
    In real terms it means they will have to pay to get on the card.

    I'm ****ed it I know, even Mundine gave them tickets to sell, but the promoters of this "show" are too ****en miserably & scabby to even do that.

    I hope I'm wrong, but up until yesterday, that was the rumble in the jungle.:twisted:

    I know of a couple of undercard fighters on the card and dont think this is the case.

    I'd love some confirmation on this Leon, it's got my really bothered.

    I am a fair dinkum Green fan, since the day he stopped Paul Smallman, I thought he would make the grade, as well as being a great ambassador for us,
    But, this affair smells very strongly of forgetting where you came from.
    The blokes that are warming up the crowd deserve respect.
    It's the same as if the promoters are saying they can run the show without an undercard & we all know that is just bull**** on an international scale.
    It's a disrespectful bluff. Nothing more.
    ALL the fighters should be paid the going rate, travel & accom. FROM THE SHOW. :twisted:

    be surprised if this is true.Green UC fighters to my knowledge have never had to sell tickets or whatnot to get paid.but who knows maybe the cost of getting RJJ over here was substantial and his team feels the exposure the UC fighters will get is worth the financial loss for them.Leon will get to the bottom of this.

    I can confirm that this is 100% incorrect. All fighters on the card are getting paid and getting paid more than the industry standard for this card. Apparently J ustin and Dan are both very upset at these rumours and Dan would not expect fighters to fight for free on his cards. I hope this clears it all up

    The reason I did not accept this as being "gospel" is because I did not think Danny would have lost his way so badly.

    this rumour/slander was started by a bloke who was supposed to pay greeny 10k to go to narooma to raise money for the locak kids to get a bus for safe transport to the gym from large distances. greeny went for two nights and did three diff appearances n when he left they were short so green declined his bloody 10k payment. this same peanut contacted green machine crew n offered their boy for free on the jones undercard cause he was gettin paid by sponsor . the offer was never accepted, yet who could blame them, the boy got paid, the sponsor got bang for buck n promoter gets fight! thats not really the way u thank a bloke for helpin out in a big way previously, but some crew just cant help themselves.
    i know someone close to the camp n this is straight as a ruler. hang your head in shame ziggy. poor form,poor.
