There's no need to reach for anything to discredit Floyd. He has
done that all by himself, chasing ducks on a vacation. Must be painful as a full
fledged Floydette these days. You have my sympathy.

    LOL,

This is why I don't take the Mayweather hate seriously. I thought Mayweather was *FORCED* into fighting Mosley because he was backed into a corner. Now all of a sudden he cherry picked him lol.

I said Maywaether would fight the winner of Berto vs Mosley before Berto vs Mosley was even cancelled and the second it was cancelled I knew Maywaether would fight Mosley.

You really have the nerve to say bull**** when you know that there were tons of threads appearing how Mayweather was backed into a corner and was forced to fight him

**** even Mosley came out and said it.

What the **** is Mosley gonna say "yea he is fighting me cause I've been inactive"

I actually believe that Haymon told Berto to step aside so that Floyd would fight Mosley. I mean the earthquake is terrible but you know what, Berto could have fought and dedicated the fight to his cousins or country. He could have fought and used his purse to help the people in Haiti and his family. We've seen fighter fight in tough situations time and time again.

I'm not saying Floyd fought Mosley because he was inactive but to say taht the inactivity had no impact on the fight is bull IMO.

Berto pulled out of a fight because of death of family members.

Pac pulled out of a fight because of a needle.

To think you have the cheek to question dedication.

I beleive Berto was given step aside money as well.

Its also very possible that Mayweather beat Mosley because of his inactivity. But thats not what Popkins is saying. He didn't say that Mayweather won because of inactivity. He is clearly stating that Mayweather only fought Mosley because of his inactivity and that he cherry picked him.

All these *******, ******s were on PBF case about the fight with Mosley. All last year I heard how he was SCARED to fight Mosley and Mosley was gonna whip his azz. When Andre Berto pulled out the fight cause of what happen in Haiti, Everybody and thier Momma was saying PBF should fight Mosley , lets make it Happen. When he whips Mosley azz all over the ring , its like Mosley was this and that, these ******* bytches are something.

I'm not interested in being better than the occasional baiting thread. I have no aspirations to be the next McGrain, I'm not that virtuous, I like the rough and tumble of the General Forum and I won't apologize for that one iota. :good

It's not really that important...everyone wanted Mayweather Mosley, before and after the first Pacquiao negotiations...and Mayweather stepped in the ring, thats all that matters.

You can point out numerous quotes from boxers and bring up conspiracy theories...look at the stuff people bring up what Roach has said almost daily.

Stupid thread. Besides PHILLA, everyone in the world was saying Mayweather was scared to fight Mosley and when he signed the only reason he did was because he was backed into a corner. They also said Mayweather was getting knocked out. This type of Mayweather hate is just reaching. Everyone knows Floyd loves to knock other's achievements. Also, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

he fought shane because it was the fight everyone wanted to see. well that might not be his reason, but it dont change the facts.

avoiding pacman now is seriously annoying, but he did step up and fight shane when everyone demanded so. i got no problems with this and credit it as one of his best wins.

we all saw mosley call him out, and wee all remember these forums begging floyd to take the fight. and he did do. i dont see how anyone can have a problem, they where both top 3 WW's when they fought.

The fight sold 1.5 million (the second non HW PPV). I believe that would easily put it in the top 10 of all -time PPV'S, MORE than Pacman ever sold. This is the fight everybody wanted, enough said.
