Is Tiger Flowers underrated at middle ?

    A name that does not come up too often on lists of all time top middle weights is Tiger Flowers. While he had his share of KO losses, the vast majority were to light heavyweights. He did fight on at least even terms head to head with two all time greats in Greb and Walker .. I understand Greb was shopworn but at the time so was Tiger .. as far as Walker goes the decision seems to have been disputed and very close .. Tiger had good size and reach, seemed to have had blazing speed, terrific stamina and was a warrior .. he seems a bit swept under the rug .. been rereading Compton's outstanding Greb book ( have to give credit where due) and it merits some discussion.
