Timothy Bradley shouldn't even be in the conversation for a 'Hof'. He's about the same level as Martin Murray if Murray had got the decision he deserved against Sergio Martinez.
Never finished the Barrera fight. Think I got six rounds in and had to go do something else. Can't find my scorecard now. But I've heard it said in other quarters, like you say, that Barrera deserved the nod.
Quit trollin'. You just arrived on the forum this past Friday? I think we'd all like it if you left by Wednesday.
Nobody is trolling you cliquey weirdo. It's my opinion. You sound like a biased Bradley fanboy out of touch with reality. Getting the biggest GIFT win you could see against Pacqauio, and beating an old Marquez fighting up at welterweight ( and nothing else worth mentioning) just does not impress me resume wise. The overrating of Bradley is crazy to me.
If Marquez had been robbed in the Bradley fight, Marquez would have made a stink and pushed and pushed for a rematch. He never did. And Nacho said that Bradley had a "stinking, fast, and difficult style".
Now the Norwood loss on the other hand is another matter. For as dull as that fight was (2 counter-punchers waiting on the other so they could counter equals oodles of fun) though JMM didn't do much I thought he clearly did more than enough to defeat Freddie Norwood.
It's like saying are Chad Dawson, Krysztof Wlodarcyzk, Marcos Maidana are ATG's? That's the kind of level Bradley is.
Holt, Campbell, Abregu, Alexander, Pacquiao X3, Provo, Marquez, Vargas & Rios were all anywhere from good fights to very entertaining from what should be any boxing fans prospective. Bradley was one of my favorites of his time, so maybe there's some bias on my part, but that man was a warrior and extremely fun to watch (except for the Witter fight which was dull, because Witter was dull and DS was being cautious trying to win a world title on foreign soil.)
Well I watched most of them fights and I found him very boring to watch, So we'll have to agree to disagree. The Alexander fight was a total snoozefest in particular. I agree he was a warrior- tough guy. But to me he was one of the most dull fighters of recent times, feather fisted and dirty I really didn't enjoy his fights.
I honestly believe that a prime early 2000s Barrera would carve up Marquez. So would Morales. I believe Marquez is a very, very good fighter who happened to be a stylistic nightmare for Pacquiao. Other than that hes a solid fighter, but the resume is lacking beyond that.
Bradley is not that good. He was pumped up by Pacquiao fans. I'm a pac fan too, but not stupid or beyond reason. Bradley is no great fighter.
desert storm just inked a fresh contract with espn as a boxing commentator, and haters gone hate. TB had some of the most exciting drama filled fights I have seen. Heart of a champion, and fierce like a lion.
