Is Tomasz Adamek Relevant to the HW Division?

Comparing Haye and Adamek is terrible.

Since Adamek moved up to HW he's fought from best to worst
Chambers (top 10)
Arreola (top 10)
Cunningham (top 15)
Grant (top 20)
Walker (top 25)
Golota (top 15)
McBride (top 60)
Maddalone (top 75)
Aguilera (top 100)
Estrada (top 100)

Haye's HW resume ( with more than a yr longer in the division)
Valuev (top 5)
Ruiz (top 15)
Barrett (top 20)
Chisora (top 20)
Audley (top 40)

And he also had prior experience testing himself at the weight before beginning his campaign at HW when he fought Tomasz Bonin(likely a top 50, but hard to gauge considering he'd never beaten a top 100 himself)

Not only is Adamek the far busier fighter, he's also beaten far more relevant fighters. Haye was very relevant prior to his fight with Wlad, but once he made that big money, his stock has plummeted. The Del Boy fight saw it rise, but unless he fights a Charr or Pulev or even Fury, he's yesterstays news.


Adamek is quite relevant. He may not be a threat to Wlad, but WHO THE **** IS?:yep

He is relevant, yes.

Not a very good chance he ever becomes champ, but the same could be said about every non-Kltischko.

Still a top 15 HW...

 

Of course he is relevant

he is highly ranked and would be a threat to most in the division

Outside of VK WK and Haye I think Adamek is a live dog vs the rest of the division

 

He's not relevant at all.. He's as much relevant as Eddie Chambers was awhile back..

He's really not much of a factor at HW..

and if he doesnt lose anytime soon he will remain on track to fight Wladimir whether he fights Puleev or not

He could probably beat Povetkin I think he has a good shot

the guy sells tickets and im sure any fighter looking for exposure like a Bryant Jennings would fight him

So of course he is relevant I dont see how you can argue that he isnt

if relevance by you is winning the title then he certainly isnt winning the title but he will still be in the mix for now

he's done and never was **** at HW so of course he was gonna duck Poo Lev

 

He was relevant when he first moved up because nobody knew exactly what he would offer the division and how the move up would translate.

Now we do know.

So, in the larger sense, no - he isn't relevant anymore. He sells out arenas so he's financially relevant, but as far as the HW title picture? Not the least bit relevant.

 

Lots of people have kayoed Walker.

Manny Quezada and TJ Wilson each did it in a single round - are/were they relevant?

I mean, his resume is probably the best of any of the top 10 HW's not named Klitschko.

Yet you think hes afraid of Pulev?

No HW outside of the Klitschkos is relevant in reality.

Its been that way since shortly after Lennox retired.
