You have Estrada and Aguillera top 100 and Bonin top 50, both of them would knock Bonin out in 1 round. Valuev was not top 5, his best win was Monte Barret. That version of Ruiz was not top 15

Derp, I know he's a blown-up LHW. But his recent HW fights have just been similar blown-up fighters: Cunningham, Chambers...

    Nice try though. :|

Adamek became irrelevant as soon as he ducked Pulev in the final eliminator for WK...

He's just a name, with a nice polish fan-base... nothing more... He was very good at Light-heavy, and Cruiser-weight... but nothing special at H.W. He will never win a major title at H.W... = Not Relevant

I Wpuld still give him a chance vs povetkin and WBC top contenders are arreola, stiverne and banks.
should vitali retire Adamek would have good chance to grab WBC since he beat 2 out of 3 top WBC contenders already..
batter option for him than being slaughtered by Wlad

He makes for good fights and he can beat a lotta other contenders. But VK already smashed him and he'd do no better against Wlad.

The most lucrative HW fighting on US soil.

Better resume than most if not all HW contenders.

    Fights frequently.

    Warrior status reached years ago.

Bitches will cry no matter what.

He's as relevant as all the other top 10 HW's beside Klitschkos.

that should be about right, pulling out of fights is a sign of decline
first Solis, then Pulev .. Adamek is more about money than the challenge
which is not bad sign, since Floyd is using this technique and earns big $$$

    Some corrections below:

    Adamek average top 30
    Haye average top 30
... abut the same in quality of average opponent
+ both lose to top 1 and top 2 showing pretty
    much the same helpless attempts
Adamek tends to overtake his relevance with the activity.

... In general I do not see anybody else who would be more relevant to the division.
Povetkin is irrelevant since a few years fighting guys like Rahman or Huck and
ducking Wlad since 2008. Aurrola is fighting bums since his lose to Adamek.
Every body else is either inactive or inexperienced or not ready yet.

if I were on the downslide and I knew I had 1-2 fights left in me, I would do everything to make the most money out of it and go out on a winning note

Do you think he has only 1-2 fights left, or that it is his last year of being competitive?

he is done at the top level, he no longer has the speed or footwork he once had, he also carries too much weight for this frame, when he throws punches, it looks like he's struggling to do so, add to that ring wars and age, and you have to think that his career is coming to a close

Is he undersized and at the end of the road in his career, all likelihood? Sure.
Can you say he's not one of the biggest names in the division actively fighting? No.
Can you say he isn't highly ranked? No.
Can you say he couldn't still be beating other top ten contenders? I don't think so, no.
Therefore, while he shouldn't be ranked as highly as he is by Ring's ratings, in the opinion of most, he still must be considered relevant. At least until someone finally takes the last of him out. But, might have a surprise left in him over a top-ranked fighter, yet.
