Is Tommy Hearns overdue to get inducted in the Hall of Fame?

    I think he's wayyyyy past due his induction...and people are already talking if Cotto should get in! :huh

    He's not officially retired. You need to be retired 5 years to be considered.

    Well he last fought in 2006 but if he officially retired tomorrow surely he would be up for induction in 2011? Not quite sure how that works. :huh

    i watched ring life, about his son, and tommy was slurring like a mother ****er... he should def hang them up instead of fighting as a ****en side show

    he last fought when '06-'07? cant meet the minimum 5 year retirement rule.

    i know this a little off topic but since it was mentioned, i dont think cotto is a hall of famer by any means, he hasnt even truly been recognized as the undisputed champ in any division, i dont think being consider the 2nd or 3rd best fighter in a given division warrants a trip to the hall of fame... sorry obssesive cotto fans.

    Hearns has always been a bit slurry- but what happens if a fighter goes into the hall of fame and then fights again?

    He's a guarenteed 1st ballot hall of famer when his 5 year is up. Fully deserved it will be as well, hearns is a legend :yep

    They dont like it though..Fenech copped a bit of flack for coming back. Not that it really matters, I mean what are they going to do uninduct them?
