Is Tommy Hearns overdue to get inducted in the Hall of Fame?

Hearns is a living legend. Physically he's the GOAT. Other than the chin.

 

I nearly choked on my drink when I was reading the rings top 80 ATG list and Hearns was number 67 or somewhere around 67. Hearns is a legend, and I think fits easily in the top 10 ATG list. After being done for five years he will be inducted into the hall....

As for Cotto, he still has some time. However, if he retired today I think he would have earned his spot in the Boxing Hall of Fame...

He should officially retire now . . . to make it quicker . . . he is the one delaying it. :deal

 

As far as I know, Hearns isn't actively looking to fight. Don't know how official retirement in boxing works though.

 

A few months ago he was going to fight again, but I have not heard anything about it. I am his greatest fan, but he is 51 years old now. He should retire for good. After 50 years old there is no use for a fighter to keep going with his boxing career.

 

He was never the most articulate guy, but the deteroriation in his speech is pretty noticable. :verysad
