You're right. I shouldn't let myself get dragged into his lies and flaming, but quarry is VERY good at trolling. Im out of this thread but will continue to educate him in others. Thanks for making me see the light! :good

Quarry,AKA as Sonnyboyx2,is a good poster and knows his boxing.Problem is,he get's a little too caught up in these little arguments.Though if you know his history,it's usually very amusing and can make for some very entertaining posts.Overall,he's a good poster and can be a valuable member to this site.

JAB5239 is the main problem here.Truly an arrogant and conceited person;he's pretty much the main reason that a few regular posters over at a section of another well-known boxing forum that he moderates in are posting more and more here. They're sick and tired of him censoring them while he turns a blind eye to his mates.

but you did say Dempsey was terrified of Langford, you have claimed hundreds of times that Dempsey ducked Harry Greb, you have claimed many times that Tommy Morrison is an All Time Great.. your a laughing-stock as well as a liar.

Besides the lack of a chin he also lacked stamina and his style wasn't smart enough to compensate for it .

You will not find too many bigger Morrison fans on this forum than me - with that chin and punch the man generated entertainment like nobody's business - but the answer is NO, NO, a thousand times, NO!!!

I think Morrison is a little underrated, he moved his head well on the way in, fast hands, great fast powerful left hook, nice footwork (except he was positioning himself for that left hook a little to much), put combinations together quickly. His footwork and head movement wasn't as good later in his career though

No he wouldn't have been an ATG with a great chin, but it may have actually took him far in some match ups. Out of the guys he fought he'd only have lost to Lennox

Morrison admitted to juicing. He stated he would have been a CW without steroids.

Best win was Foreman but Foreman definately took Morrison lightly. This was not the same Foreman who fought Holyfield in '91. It was about the same Foreman who fought Moorer in '94 though. IMO, Morrison loses to the Foreman who fought Holyfield but he beats the Foreman who fought Moorer

I give credit where it is due though. Morrison fought the best fight he could have vs. Foreman and it paid off.

What other top HW would that strategy have worked against though? It may have worked against a guy like Mercer, maybe McCall. I think Tua would eventually catch him though.

No way is Tommy Morrison near great. An above average fighter with good power and decent skills, but a very weak chin and inconsistent performances.

Morrison started out as a sub 210 pound fighter with some body fat. His transformation was amazing, and likely loaded with juice. In fact Morrison admits this. A friend of mine meet Morrison once at a health club opening. He said he wasn't 6'2", more like 6' and his arms were on the short side. I think his tale of the tape was a bit exaggerated.

ATG? No way? ATG Great left hook. Absolutely! Morrison landed with snap and a thud.

    I promise you that Wladimir isn't 6'6.5" either , more like 6'4.5" .
Actually vs. Puritty he was listed as a 6'5".
    Vitali isn't 6'8" either , more like 6'6" , maybe 6'6.5" , not any more.
Even on paper their reach is unimpressing for their height , maybe just less exaggerated than others' . Not that reach matters that much , height matters more .

Still wouldnt cause he got hit too much, besides he wasnt that hard to outbox...IF he had a chin he would have been one of the better contenders of the 90s though, instead of a hot and cold lower top 10 guy... But still a notch below the Holys,Tysons,Lewis and Bowes..
