I heard this fight was gonna happen, but don't see it in Boxrec.

They said tonight on FNF that Toney was looking to return in March or April. If the TOS part is right, its good to see Toney is picking a decent fighter after a long time out.

This fight should be on FNF, would make a good main event, loser never fights on TV again.

That's because Toney did so poorly vs. the last journeyman he faced. I guess he figured he has to step up the comp. in case he loses it won't be to a stiff.

If he is its a must win fight for either.. No escaping it, Davaryll and JT are at a crossroads, either man has to be looking at alternative avenues .. They are gutsy fighters but have had bad times as of late. (Meehan & Samuel) plus James inactivity.. It doesn't help you when you are not all that driven as far as training goes as you could be (James)

If Toney can't KO this turd, even he should be able to admit it's time to retire.

Williamson dropped Wlad a couple years back, it was a pretty competitive fight until they stopped because of a cut.

Toney may get a bit of his form back and outbox Williamson, but I don't see Toney KOing him.

Which speaks volumes about how much Wlad had to learn.

But I'll back off of TOS a little. I'm more of a disgruntled Toney fan than a disgruntled Williamson stalker. It's just awful the way JT pissed away his final years of relevance.

Agreed, not a huge fan of either man myself, but Toney was a very skilled fighter that lost the battle of the buldge, which seems to be a growing trend in the Heavyweight division.

A "growing" trend, especially on our side of the pond. A nation of fatasses, as reflected by our heavyweights.

If it happens, I hope TOS wins, but I doubt it.

I think it's most Heavyweights no matter where your from, guys like Chagaev, Iggy, and Povetkin are not much better. I think Heavyweights need to take there conditioning more serious, it's really hard to perform well when your stomachs hanging out further than your dick.
