Is tonight the night Tony Bellew is exposed?

    I like Tony Bellew and think he's a top bloke but I can't help thinking that Sky have over hyped the hell out of him. He's a good fighter but not a great fighter in my opinion and I honestly think he's found his level. People go on about his punch power but he's only had 12 knockouts out of 19 wins giving him a 60% knockout ratio out of his 20 fights. 60% knockout ratio isn't great when you look at his level of opposition. If you look at his last few fights McKenzie, McIntosh, Miranda and Balonti he hasn't looked great apart from the McIntosh win and let's be honest Danny McIntosh isn't a great boxer. Against Miranda he looked scared of a blown up middleweights power. I just think that Chilemba will expose Bellew tonight as a fringe world level operator and as some who isn't as good as the Sky and Matchroom hype is suggesting. I hope he proves me wrong but if his recent performances are anything to go by I worry for Tony Bellew tonight.

    No, he is going to box a disciplined fight and decision Chilemba in a competitive fight and empower me to win a few quid off the bookies.

    To be honest i thought Bellew was overated as **** when he 1st came on the scene and the way sky were talking him up it annoyed me cos i didnt think he was all that but the way he pushed Clev ( who i rate highly) made me change my opinion on him and made me think he was clearly far better than i thought and did alot of subtle things i clearly didnt notice , i think hes had to add the caution to his game , no point in goin hell for leather at guys like mckenzie and miranda and give them the only chance theyve got, if anything i think this may be the fight where more people sit up n take notice of Bellew .... will be cheerin him on tonight.

    I think he'll box to a decision tonight.

    He's a boxer first and foremost, when he actually sticks to that he's very effective.

    For me, he's a heavy handed puncher but he's not a Julian Jackson type executioner, deep down he knows that and fights accordingly.

    His biggest weakness is his apparent inability (aside from the Clev fight) to find a style that suits him - he's either trying to behead the opponent with every shot or boxing ultra-negatively to get across the line.

    Eventually, the 2nd option will be his undoing, just as the first one almost was against McKenzie the first time.

    lads in the boozer n at work are under the impression that bellew is a knock out merchant i think it must be down to his nickname and his attitude at press conferences n weigh ins
