Bellew is scheduled to fight Haye in March 4 of next year.

    It's a reasonable fight.
I don't think Bellew's good enough but it's worth a try, and he'll get paid.

But do you think this contest will be remotely competitive?

This is a crazy fight and should never have been sanctioned... Bellew is taking the payday before he gets found out as a weak champion (Lets not forget he was knocked down in round 1 vs Makabu)...

I can't stand David Haye but he is natural at this weight, he's faster and stronger than Bellew who doesn't stand a chance... IMO the fight should be called off as it is too much of a miss-match

As for their careers, Bellew's will be over once he loses so he will just take a big pay cheque... And for Haye, this doesn't help his ambition to become a world champion in anyway and confirms what everyone already knew which is he only cares about the £££

Not the fight the fans wanted for either boxer

Haye isn't that good... so no... I mean he's the bigger guy and all.. but still Haye was never that great.

I doubt it. But can't be worse than Mark DeMori and Arnold Garbage.

Bellew would rather get paid large and get KTFO on another ridiculous Sky/Matchroom PPV event than fight Usyk or Lebedev and get KTFO for average money.

Probably the best move he can make from a financial perspective... Fight will be huge(if it happens) and even in the likely event that he loses... He can just drop back down to CW and milk his belt for a little while longer before cashing out down there too.

You can't really blame him for going for the big payday, especially as he get's to move up and if he loses he can still go back down and defend his belt and make another payday.

Bellew isnt that good at all. But when is the last time David Haye has been seriously in the ring? I'd think Haye would smash Pretty Ricky. Buhbuhbut

I have much faith in Bellew to be able to run and hide for first half of the fight and make it interesting in the latter part of it. Haye is not the forward moving power house that destructs his enemies like Joshua is.

As shameless a cash-out as Can Martin. When does Bellew's rap career start?
