I don't want to sound like somebody who is overrating TT because of the Price victories, but apart from the Klitschkos, who has been better than TT, since 2004.

I'd say he is the best of the era never to win a belt.

If Tony Thompson was 4 feet tall, he would be a midget, then he could not be a heavy weigth boxer.

If not for the WBA Haye and Povetkin would be in the discussion. Hayes WBA title should have belonged to Wlad after he beat Chagaev and Povetkins WBA "Regular" title is a joke. So I guess TT, Chambers and maybe Adamek belong in this discussion too.

Wow, people are getting high on Tony Thompson. He's a cool, funny dude but lets not build him up to be something he's not.

    Timur Ibragimov
    Luan Krasniqi
    Chazz Witherspoon
    Owen Beck
    Zuri Lawrence
    Vaughn Bean
    Dominick Guinn
    David Price I & II

That is a list of all of his "notable" victories. Is that very impressive to be the best HW of the past decade to not win a title? It looks somewhat Arreola-esque if you ask me.

    Agree with this.

If you don't count the WBA, then Povetkin is CLEARLY much, much better than TT.

Chambers, Adamek, **** even Pulev already is in the discussion.

Weak line up of fighters. Luan Krasniqi was a hype job that turned out to be a bum. Thompson is getting to much credit for his fights with Price. Jennings and Fury would beat TT's ass. How ever Thompson would expose Pulev the same way he did Price. Don't worry Pulev wont fight Thompson anyway. Pulev is just going to get a title shot by fighting a bunch of Euro Tomatos.

    Chisora

the version that fought Vitali and Helenius beats any version of Thompson. Fury hasn't won a title and he's better than both. although to be fair, Fury hasn't yet challenged for one. so if it's fighters who have fought for one and lost, then it's Chisora for me.
