Hid away in France for years fighting complete no hopers. But eventually stepped up to fringe world level where he has now lost 3 times even with the dodgy judges all in his pocket. Yes it’s over. I don’t think he plans on becoming a name to pad up and comers records.
Hyped roid-fraud 'Olympian'. Disgrace and failure. Highlights include needing to be juiced out of his mind to beat Dave Allen. The only thing he can offer the world at this point is getting badly KO'd time and again for highlight reels. Otherwise, top guy, role model, wouldn't mind using him to sponsor some sporting attire made in Vietnam to sell to the idiot masses who waved their flags at him during the Olympics. Very similar to another Anthony in boxing, just less protected in every way.
His career never took off to begin with. He had that long suspension for 4 missed drug tests which killed any momentum he might have had coming out of the Olympics. He stupidly stayed in France hoping he could do what Joshua did an become a huge draw at home and make boxing more popular in France, which was moronic given the UK's history in the sport and France's near non existent history in the sport and that Joshua won old in a home games that was recognised as one of the best Olympic games in many years. He also never adapted to the pro game. You watch his first fight as a pro and then watch his last, he's that exact same fighter, he never learned a thing, had an incapability to learn new things. He was stuck in this amateur point scoring style and so failed when stepping up as a pro. You either have to be able to hurt people or be elusive and he was neither as a pro. In the end he never had the right mind set to successful. From the failed drug tests which meant he was either needing to dope to compensate for his lack of ability when he was fighting journeymen or that he was so unprofessional as a pro without Team France to manage him he missed 4 doping tests out of sheer lack of the ability to manage his day to day schedule as a pro, which either way is worrying. To this crazy business model of staying in France when as a gold medallist he had the option to fight on a bigger stage, it all shows a lack of what was required. Can you imagine if Joshua had missed 4 drug tests in his second year as a pro and decided to spend his while career fighting in Nigeria think he could become a star there and make boxing come to Nigeria and it grow to be a sport that sells out stadiums? Yet Yoka thought that was a good idea. Even Audley Harrison had a better career if we're honest and he was older and a total coke head as a pro.
He barely got past Jonathan Rice while heavily on the roads which is probably his best win in his pro career.
