Is too much emphasis being put on Hopkin's Right Hand

    I agree. I actually think what your saying will act as a chain of events.

    1)Stay back, move around, and wait. Try to frustrate Joe and make him attack.
    2)Throw the lead right and gain inside ground whether it lands or not.
    3)Rough him up in the inside.
    4)Repeat.

    Or, if the opportunity is right he can just start with 2.

    Nothing new, really...but I think this will be effective with Joe. Even Bika had some success doing sort of the same thing.

    hopkins is not one dimensional. he will not panic if his right hand doesn't land. he is also great with that sneaky uppercut as he steps in, the digging left to the body. hopkins moves backwards and side steps all night, with someone like clazaghe who comes foward throwing punches, hopkins will be able to counter with everything from the lead right hand to the ****in kitchen sink

    That's what I was after when I started this thread, a bit more than "Hopkin's is gonna hit him with a counter right" over and over again.
