Is Top Rank losing face and GBP the new King of promotions?

Once Bob Arum dies it won't matter. We'll get good crossover fights

 

Top rank is still relevant for the time being. They do have HBO in the back pocket but for how long? Mentioning 50 cent's name is ridiculous because he hasn't done anything in or for the sport of boxing.

 

Anybody who believes this is a fool. Top Rank actually makes real stars. They know how to promote fighters. Name one star that GBP has actually developed. The closest would be Broner. (Canelo already had a following before Golden Boy got dibs)GBP comps tickets like crazy compared to Top Rank. Seriously, if Golden Boy is having a show in your area, go to the ticket office the day of the fight and score seats for 1/2 off. Try that **** with Top Rank, won't fly because they actually price their tickets at an appropriate price. By comping tickets, Golden Boy alienate real fight fans who buy their tickets in advance. I am a fan of boxing and I want their to be real attractions, I want tickets priced at an appropriate price.

..and tr is very selective on who they sign and as another poster pointed out, they know how to select and make a star.

 

LMAO it's hilarious how the only people not okay with GBP being on top are the *******s. GB has been producing quality cards top to bottom for the last couple of years, while TR for the most part has shitty undercards.
