Calzaghe and Tyson have similar rankings. Not ATG but HOF. The difference is Tyson actually fought everyone he could so he has L's....Tyson definitely fought the higher level of competition though..no doubt.

How many ATG's (in their prime) did Lennox Lewis beat?

yes, just from the impact he made for boxing

when tyson rising up through the rank all the way until he won all the titles, he's not winning it in questionable fashion, it was brutal knockout that people still watch again and again till many many years to come.

    holyfield

and mercer (which suppose to be a draw)

some people are stupid enough to think lewis is ATG because he's 3 x champs by coming back from his lost against someone like mccall and rahman, like mccall and rahman an all time great lol

All I hear is how Tyson's accomplishments don't make him an all time great. You all have your opinions and arguments backing them up, but you still can't tell me this. What man could stand toe to toe with the youngest heavyweight champion ever in '86?
Tyson might not be an "ATG" to a few certain posters on here, but one thing is for dam sure. Mike was the most feared and most vicious fighter that ever lived. Quite frankly he was the best fighter to have graced this planet.

You can't get a solid answer to this question here because:

    1. Most of these guys on here don't know **** about who the contenders where in that era.

    2. A lot of people don't like Tyson personally, and use that to judge him overall.

    3. Everyone remembers **** like the Lewis fight, which was a world champion fighting the shadow of the beast Tyson was in his prime.

This is true. Nobody was as dominant, feared and gifted as Tyson.

The Bruno fight is my favorite. That guy was absolutely **** scared.

The twain ne'er shall meet between Tyson's prime years and "usual HW prime years".

Watch some footage of 80's Tyson doing what he did. Educate yourself about the people he did those things to.

Of course he's an ATG - that was established by the time he flew to Tokyo.
