I like tyson but how can you have him as one of the best? He was a limited fighter he had a lot of flashy KO’s but so did Sam Peter he was a great fighter but you can’t use the excuse of him going to prison as to why he declined so much he was only 29? If you want to say its because he didn't train hard etc. Than that alone makes him not a great, as having the discipline, dedication and heart to train hard is part of being a ATG.

Are you really comparing Tyson to Peter? Peter was so many levels below Tyson he doesnt rate as a valid comparison and would get blown out incredibly quick versus Tyson. Post prison Tyson and his head hunting was the limited Tyson. When he was in his first reign his speed, movement, combinations, and relentless educated pressure were anything but limited. No, Tyson didn't have good longevity but if you actually watch his fights from his first reign he was anything but a simple slugger.

Vitali klitschko has taken that spot now. Mikes become severly underrated now after years of being treated like a god.

A knock out artist is what Lennox or Foreman were. They would hit you with their best right and you rarely got up, if at all.

Tyson was more an accumulation puncher that surprised you with his speed and timing.

Tyson in his prime was a great points fighter, if he couldn't get the KO he would comprehensively beat his opponent on points, guys that had huge physical advantages over him.

To be able to beat top guys widely on points who are that much bigger than him suggests he was a great points fighter.

PS: The Botha fight took place during Mike's no-skill headhunting days, not his prime.

Vitali has become the new over rated fad.

It's SURREAL listening to all these people talking about 'h2h' match ups with Vitali...

exactly what I think. In that small time of his first reign as champion he was an ATG. But that style depends on being perfect and in shape all the time. No man can keep it up every fight with the big guys Mike was fighting.

beating Tucker, a marvellous speed fighter, on points, confirmed Mike could win over 12 rounds.

    Vitali Klitschko overrated :patsch

It's laughable to consider either Klitschko overrated never mind "most overrated if all time"

It's the other way around. Most people trash the Klitschkos, and they aren't very well received in the US at all.
