Fury has released a wide range of merchandise, numerous books, a single with Robbie Williams, had a fly on the wall documentar and is now in tv commercials, his wife has released a book, is often on U.K. tv in her own right now, John Fury has his own range of merchandise inc socks... Tommy Fury is a big name within a certain age demographic for love island etc. The Fury brand is in overdrive and Tyson has sold out and done and become everything he previously claimed to hate. He couldn’t possibly do anything else to be a bigger drawer… but most importantly he’s done the business in the ring.

Up until now, no. Joshua has been the bigger commercial success.

However, Fury's recent success in America and BT doing a great job promoting him (not Warren or Bob Arum) here in the UK, I can see Fury *finally* selling out a Wembley arena.

I would say that as of right now, Fury has the bigger profile. That wasn’t the case until after Usyk vs Joshua and Wilder 3.

I think Fury's mental health campaign may have helped bring people to his side.

However, as much as people may hate me for this, it could just be another way for him to make money.

Fury is FAR more popular than Joshua in the US, the biggest market in the world for boxing.

Now Fury’s back fighting in the UK: zero promotion from Shyte, Fury had to bear the entire load himself, and he’s only gone and sold out Wembley Stadium by himself.

I thjink this is very cyniccal, as someone who has family members who have suffered with mental health issues - Fury displays a lot of the symptoms even now. He can be quite manic at times.

Has he used it to his advantage, yeah probably - but if he has also helped people suffering with it - then I don't see issues with it.

I'm not saying it is this way, I don't like being cynical, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's true.

Maybe like you say, he did suffer but he's not using it to help his career. I suppose it's not so bad.

His whole personality has changed since prior to his mental breakdown, he has become a more empathetic person imo. Empathy is something you typically get when you have your own issues that you contend with.

If you watch his interview from say 2015 vs now, he isn't the same.

Fury is a household name now. The Wilder rubber match went mainstream and made him a crossover star like Murray, Hamilton, Beckham etc

    AJs star appeal has plummeted..

in 2022 Tyson Fury is definitely the bigger draw. It was different a few years ago when AJ had the ammy hype and was climbing up the ranks with spectacular finishes like the Wlad one and Fury was a fat and drug addicted balloon but lets be honest...AJ ist mentally done as a pro boxer. Fury is rocking it. Everyone wants to see Usyk vs. Fury. Nobody really wants to see Joshua vs. Usyk 2 apart from a few AJ fangirls.

Fury has surpassed AJ by quite a bit now. Paris is a celebrity in her own right, as is Tommy. He's just about the most recognised guy in Britain after Boris Johnson.
