I should add, those of us who can remember Current TV doing features on Fury circa 2007 are naturally loving stuff like this; This content is protected This content is protected We literally grew up following the guy. We believed in what we saw. We care about him. Of course we're going to enjoy seeing him do so well and receiving the plaudits his talent deserves after years of seeing him scorned and ridiculed. People should develop a sense of humor and stop being so dour and bitter. Some of you are so desperate to seem neutral, while retaining low-key bias, instead of just being high-key about your predispositions and then seperating them from your critical analyses. The great thing about BA was most everybody could rag on each others' opinions and take it like men, laugh about it and still get along, have good conversations, even do each other kindnesses in some instances. I go the polite route vastly more often than not, because I know that so many here are way touchier and way more malcontented. *That* is what I call strange. But ay, it's not a small community of buddies, it's a community of all and sundry, and many are using it to exorcise demons, as this agreeable fella observed; What do you know, another endorsement.
I was a huge Fury fan from the early days, when most were mocking him for the self uppercut, but Fury surpassed even my expectations, I thought he would win one alphabet strap at some point and get a couple of defences, I was called crazy for even thinking that lol. Fury has shown that being a natural fighter and understanding the game is the most importantly thing. AJ is the opposite, not a natural fighter, not a great boxing brain but a physical beast and hard worker.
Thanks. I was really just taking the **** there (I think I am using the term right). Fury pulled out the Ustinov fight because his Uncle died, as I remember. Fury would right Ustinov and Price on the same night if you paid him well.
