Probably the greatest HW fighter of all time. He's got about 2 maybe 3 big wins left before he overtakes all the GOATS, if he loses hes still way up there but not the GOAT.
Enough of this narrative. The division isn't so weak, there are 3-5 really strong heavyweights in it, one of whom is shaping up like he could be really one of the best the division has seen (in Tyson Fury) and an ATG cruiserweight stepping into the fray with his impact yet to be felt, it could add to the excitement. Be greatful for what it is instead of trying to hold it up to the greatest eras. There isn't an abundance like Holyfield, Lewis, Tyson, Bowe etc of that time but let's not just write it off because of that. What do you want, another decade of the Klitschko's? No thanks, I'll have what we've got. It's not all doom and gloom
Many of the "bad division" guys would like to see the 80s again, where you had a bunch of guys who smoked crack, were still fat, and you still had a champ who would rather fight the Marvis Fraziers and Tex Cobbs instead of the fat crackheads. Oh, the memories of the good ol' days.
Fury is as good as his era . I don’t think he would beat a prime Tyson , Holyfield and Lewis and wouldn’t beat the likes of Ali Frazier and foreman but at the moment no one comes near to him .
