Yup. To maximize earning power, sportsmen have to be flamboyant in some way to set them apart. It's the risk they run. Acting like that gets you fame which gets you money, but it also turns many a fan away from you. Paulie somehow managed to turn that image around 2+ years ago when he did a couple commentating gigs before going to Ukraine to defeat Senchenko. Now, with the Showtime role, he has managed to become a beloved figure in boxing. Couldn't have been more opposite just a few years ago. Even when I joined ESB, he was clearly the second most hated active boxer only to the one and only man that everyone obsesses over hating.
