Wait, AJ has ducked Furyx2 and Wilderx2 in the space of two years. Who can top that?

Let's get the facts straight here, once and for all. This was all witnessed in the open media, not speculation of backroom deals etc.

    1. AJ declined the Fury fight that Chisora took, citing there wasn't enough time (over 2 months) and because they wanted media control as B-side. (Fury was ducked)

    2. AJ declined the Fury fight again when the Usyk-Fury fight was in trouble, for the reason he was fighting Wilder in Arab land. But then he actually fought Wallin instead! (This means he ultimately ducked both Fury and Wilder.)

    4. Wilder still asked for the fight and AJ chose the mma fighter. (AJ ducks Wilder again)

So that makes Fury duck x2 and Wilder duck x2.

Nothing tops AJ's avoidance of the other two best HWs all these years.

    Furikles-Mellqart?

(Classics joke, probably a bit obscure)

Agree, he had the interest to Do it Right, in other words FIGHT Top Men, but I disagree strongly with his talent & physical traits, he IS 3rd Rate, 2cd at best...

just saunter through the Ages, including Modern Times and see what Real Boxing & Fighting Talent looks like, and it ISN'T Fury!!!

You don't need to tell me to saunter through the ages to see what real boxing and fighting talent looks like. I've spent my whole life involved in this sport and know what I am seeing. I didn't over rate him, but simply said he wasted his talent and physical traits which is 100% accurate. There simply have not been many men his size with his skill. That doesn't mean he is more skillful than Ezzard Charles or Uysk, it simply means he was blessed with physical traits that few have had. Like I said, he failed this sport when it needed him most.

No proof Wilder was among the two biggest threats to Joshua. That's guesswork on your part. And coming off two consecutive losses why would he be expected to fight Fury?

Have never understood why some people enjoy the nonsense he pulls. Having differing opinions as to an athletes performances or capabilities is one thing but excusing and actually enjoying all of the out of ring bull**** is beyond me. Really do not get it.

George Groves may be a little lightheaded after repeated KO's at the hands of The Cobra, but I saw a video in which he said cuts can heal in two weeks to the point where Fury could have still fought next week. He said the cut would have opened for sure but not stopped the fight from happening before or after. He also said the cut looked "surgical" that is, a little fishy.

Sound like crazy stuff to me, although in Pollacks' Jack Dempsey book he mentioned that Dempsey, sparring without headgear, suffered a cut within a week of the Willard fight, simply put a "plaster" on it ( I assume that means bandaid) and went ahead with the bout.

People are sick of Fury. Couldn't care less about this fight now. Bivol Beterbiev is the big one for me.

I never had a cut heal that fast but I never had his medic team. That said, it looks like the same cut Wallin opened up which would suggest it has never fully healed back. Don't know what to make of the surgical comment. It may all have been weight loss and dieting but Fury looked in really good shape.

I really liked Tyson back in his prime but the sport has left him behind. He needs to take his pass-the-torch thrashing or retire.

People think I'm joking when I say I can't believe Belly has a single fan left but I really am not. I genuinely cannot believe he does.

Slime attracts slime. Look at the character and makeup of his fanbase and it explains it all.

Gotta agree with above posts. Despite all the ducking by fury, joshua is still the undisputed ducking king.
