Is Tyson Fury the most gifted fighter in recent memory?

Most naturally talented HW for a long time yes. Can't really compare with lower weights imho as HW boxing is so different.

But natural ability is just one of many factors contributing to success. Fury lacks ability to stay motivated and driven as well as lacking raw power. In my view he would outbox Wilder but Wilder always has the windmill factor - 50:50. I think Joshua has the advantage of raw power plus decent technique and variety, 60:40 Joshua.

But we've no idea what Fury will return - to his former self or just pale Shades or Fury. We'll soon find out when he faces the Albanian midget.

Because joshua is a stiff robot . Imo Fury should get more credit than Juishua for beating wlad, but I can’t give hime much credit , because it was an old shot wlad who looked completely shot when he fought Jennings .

AJ landed far more punches on Wlad and it`s harder to avoid being hit coming forwards than running around while throwing a few punches relying on your reach.

I highly doubt we'll ever see again a 6'8" 250-60 pound heavyweight with the physical gifts that Fury has.

Fury's greatest gift right now is how much people constantly underestimate him. Then they get in there and realize they are done for.

To be fair to Anthony Joshua and Wilder they both seem to show alot of respect for Fury and understand he is a tough tough fight and both seem to be pretty damn strong mentally also. Fury will still put it on them though...he's basically Ali 2.0.

footwork and outright boxing ability will always win. AJ understands footwork but his feet as slow as hell..Wilder is just un-ordinated.

Rangy.
Smart.
Mobile.
Quick.
Skilled.
Powerful.
Tough.

To put Tyson's boxing IQ to test, you have to come thru all of his other attributes as well... Not an easy task to ask for, if you're not in the caliber of Joshua or Klitschko. (240 lbs+ ATG's)
