Way too much $$$ on the table for him. Usyk rematch.. and then, even if he gets KOed, at worst case, the Joshua fight (which would still sell). He's in a damn good po$ition.

His eight children will be well taken care of.

    Completely agree.

I think there's a chance he may have run off into the sunset had he won tonight.

Usyk should retire and Fury should fight AJ, there are no further questions about who is the best, it's Usyk. There is now a question about who is the number 2 - let's get straight to it as there's no need to wait

He already backtracked from the rematch, and they are saying he will see what he will do, etc, etc.
Usyk is now in control and should just retire.
He is too old already, way past his prime. Anything after that win is irrelevant. And Fury fans and Usyk haters can cope hard with that !!!

    Exactly. Usyk is too old.

AJ/Fury in the UK with the winner against Usyk in S.A. makes most sense.

Nothing left to prove and the older man out there tonight. Older, lighter, shorter, less reach & bias against him and he still pulls off a convincing win. Remarkable! Let that be the legacy

Fury won’t retire without having that rematch with Usyk

I think there's a chance he will anyway.

And that he'll never admit that he was outclassed and lost clearly.

He'll always claim he won this - and I don't think he'll get back in there with Usyk (nor can I see him fighting Joshua).

Fury has two fights left in my opinion, Usyk which he'll lose and then AJ which he'll also lose, potentially by KO in both and will end with a record of 34-3-1

The beginning of the end started when he signed up for Chisora III.

He got into the best physical conditioning he could...got as motivated for the Uysk fight as he has ever been for any other fight....and still lost.

I suspect he could fight on to grab the rematch money and then a final cash out against AJ in the summer of 2025.

Imagine if he finishes his career with 3 defeats.....that would be tough for him to come to terms with.....his mental health would deteriorate!!!

In all fairness that is because the rabbit midget middleweight put the fear of god and Ukraine in him.

I don't think so. He is a very smart person and he sees boxing as opportunity. It reminds me of when Hagler and Hearns talked of a rematch and both of them joking how they will get paid which is the main thing. The excuses he uses do not mean much Usyk edged that fight and the rematch he will be favored by enough. He is a very good fighter. I am not going to say the best ever or great yet. People always rush to do that stuff today.
