    To answer the thread's titular question;

I'm a longtime Fury believer, but I'd have to say no. If he can recover his form, though, he beats anyone around now.

The way SC moved vs Fury, I think Usyk can get inside that jab as well with that head-movement, feints and speed. Usyk does more damage than SC, so I think he's got the best chance. I don't think AJ, or Wilder's style suits them vs Fury. I think AJ beats Usyk though, just from having a bit more speed & power than Fury.

Not really. I just wouldn't be on a boxing forum if 1. I had never boxed before or 2. Knew f all about boxing.

Fury's beaten 1 good guy and then ducked the rematch. It's pretty difficult to tell from that er, mountain of evidence how "unbeatable" he is. I liked what I saw against Wlad, but in the last round or two when Wlad poured it on he didn't look "unbeatable" at all. He looked like he might just fall victim to Klitschko in a rematch, tbh.

Stylistically he is very awkward, and his dimensions are problematic for pretty much anybody. But awkward and problematic don't equal unbeatable.

Unbeatable was Tyson ... until Douglas settled his hash. Nobody is unbeatable.

    This.

Tyson Fury's style can't be impossible to beat because big bad John McDermott already beat him and everyone knows it.

If his style includes never coming back to the sport and spouting off on the sidelines then, yes, his style is impossible to beat.

Inside the ring, it all depends on which Fury ever returns. I suspect he's already seen his best days, in which case his many very apparent weaknesses become all the more exploitable.

Just because a guy has 0 losses doesn't mean he can't be defeated.

Perfect use of the old cliche "Style makes fights" with Fury.

He's unique, for a guy of his size to be that agile and elusive.

On the downside, he's also unique in the fact that i've rarely seen a guy that size carry such little power.

If you can't out box him from distance, you just turn it into a scrap, get on the inside.

I've been watching Fury since near the beginning and I've seen him wobbled many times, he is clever when he gets hurt though because he will hold and lean and tire his opponents out who have all been smaller than him, and most of them had poor conditioning, so they couldn't finish the job off.

Wlad probably didn't expect to get out-boxed and he didn't have a plan B.

Someone like AJ I think relishes turning fights into scraps, he'll take risks and Fury isn't a big puncher for his size.

I think some people are going to be a bit surprised when the Fury-AJ fight doesn't go the same way as the Fury-Wlad fight (if it ever happens). I'm not saying AJ is definitely going to win either, just that AJ is not going to fight the way Wlad did, so this is by no means a cake walk for Fury.

Like you said...most had poor conditioning. It'd take some top flight conditioning for a guy to consistently get on the inside. And right now the division is full of plodders. Moving your hands is one thing but having the ability and balance to throw while moving your feet is another. Today's guys are very content to do everything flatfooted.

Come to think of it---when was the last time you saw a guy dance for say 2 minutes of a round? Can u imagine how gassed these guys would be?

Or if they had to fight in the blazing sun and heat like Ali did---15 rounds and 105 degree heat. These guys would last about 6 rounds and then it'd turn into a snoozefest.

A focused Tyson Fury is a nightmare match up for any heavyweight in history. Period.

Not saying he is the best as he's let himself go and cut his career short. But to deny that Fury is awkward for anyone is just crazy.

Come back champ and prove these doubters wrong.

Fury had no motivation for the rematch after beating Wlad so easily. None whatsoever. He turned up to the presser grossly overweight ffs.
Are you really trying to suggest he ducked the rematch due to fear or worry of some sort? Fury was beaten by himself. If he went and fought somebody else , you would have some claim that he avoided the rematch , but he didn't and hasn't stepped inside a boxing ring since.

That rematch didn't happen for a number of reasons -
    Poor ticket sales
    No Sky PPV
    Cocaine
Fury being deemed medically unfit to box and placed on suspension.

Fury barely took Wlad seriously the first time. To think he was worried about him a second time his laughable.

To beat Fury you need footwork and footspeed combined with size and power.

So that's ok then. Waste Wlad's time and months of his career for nothing.

Pretty laughable considering Fury's anger with Haye pulling out injured of there proposed fight.
