Is Tyson Fury's win over Cunningham better than Haye's best win against Mormeck?

That photo is misleading, Haye is standing closer to the camera and the camera is shooting from below, so hard to compare their height.

The photo below with Fury next to Wlad clearly shows Fury is taller than the 6'6 Wlad.

No way Fury beats Haye. And beating a fighter who already beat Mormeck clearly means Fury would have a better win than Haye's over Mormeck.

Do you honestly think watching this that Fury is 6 inches taller than Cunnigham? Don't get me wrong I know he hunches a bit, but not that much.

I've always felt Wlad is closer to 6'5 anyway. I know when asked about his height once he was quoted as saying "6'5 in the morning and 6'6 in the evening" so likely 6'5 and a bit.

Fury looked a couple of inches taller than 6'7 listed Scott Belshaw (who in turn looked a couple of inches taller than Audley Harrison in Prizefighter)

    http://www.miraclesformen.com/tyson-fury-vs-scott-belshaw-part-two

He also looked taller than 6'8 New York Nicks Basketballer Carmelo Anthony when they posed for photos before the USS fight.

He looked taller in comparison vs Johnson & Chisora at weigh ins than 6'7.5 Vitali did.

And looked a bit taller than 6'8 David Price in the footage of their amateur fight.

Unless ALL these giants heights are also bogus, I am not really sure where you are going with this ... You're arguing over a cm perhaps?

Ultimately the point is Fury (whether he is 6'8 and a 1/4 or 6'9) will be taller than every opponent he faces unless Valuev makes a comeback!

Haye went over to Paris to beat the champ in Mormeck at the Cruiserweight limit, whereas Fury beat a former (although good) Cruiserweight at the Heavyweight limit.

stands to reason which is the better win.

also, Cunningham never became the man at Cruiser like Mormeck did.

How is the fair question slating Haye tell me? Once again Haye's delusional extreme fanbase do the great man a disservice. The Haye vs Fury PPV British blockbuster between the 4th best HW in the World against another top 10 HW will be Britain's biggest fight off the year thus intriguing questions like this that bring up almost identical victories need to be asked. That's what the whole point of the forum malarky is all about really.

Every where I go I'm the smartest person in the room when it comes to boxing. Cunnigham vs Mormeck is at least a 50/50 fight. Mormeck is way overrated, he is midget and has no stanima. Cunnigham is way underrated. IMO in a head to head match id pick Cunnigham by decision.

Yeah Mormeck was champ but he split fights with the dreaded O'neil Bell. And Mormeck got KTFO the first time by Bell. Mormeck was CW champion at very weak time fighting Wayne Baithwaite and Oneil Bell for the belts.

    hehehe good stuff

the funniest though is...when in the world did being a 6 foot 9 inch heavyweight mean that is some type of advantage????? the majority of boxing fans think it's a disadvantage. big, clumsy, awkward, slow is the usual oppinion.and for fury thats pretty much what ya hear.in fact thats why most are picking haye to win.so someone tell me why it was such a big advantage over cunningham.and please don't give me that whole leaning on him crap.i watched the fight a few times and it wasn't even close to what nazim and his corner were CRYING about.he's so big thats the only reason he won :rofl bunch of little bitches:|.thats what you would expect to hear from someone that never watches boxing would say.not a seasoned trainer(unbelievable)fury just walked his a** down.he leaned some but thats not his problem.maybe they shouldn't of took the fight

    :thumbsup

    Kind of a wierd thread.

P4P Haye is a better fighter than Fury. So p4p, beating Mormeck was a better win than Fury beating Cunningham.

Haye is not going to engage Fury like Cunningham did. Haye will be always moving away, so as to avoid being crunched in clinches and elbowed. It's not going to be pretty--Haye might revert to the tactics he used vrs. Valuev. Fury will land more punches and will be faster than Valuev, so a Fury UD is a strong possibility. But I'm betting Haye eventually lands something significant. Haye being a good finisher plus a British ref equals Haye TKO.

The Cunningham fight was a really good rehearsal for Fury Vs. Haye. I think Fury will surprise a lot of boxing fans out there. It was Fury who wanted the fight with Haye, there is a reason for such. I won't be surprised if Fury were to beat Haye. Haye was knocked out by a cruiserweight..............

Fury is 6 feet 9 inches tall

Vlad is 6 feet 7 inches tall, and Vitali is 6 feet 8 inches tall. When Vlad fought in the Olympics he was always measured as 6 feet 7. Did he shrink?
