How many heavyweights did Haye beat who were as young as Larry Holmes was in 1985 ?

    Chisora, that's it.

No, who did Haye ever knock out at heavyweight ?
The same level of opponent that Spinks looked devastating against.

You could say Tyson's demolition job on Spinks is a bit underappreciated among so-called knowledgable fans, yes. Perhaps more so because of the nature of the win than anything else. Spinks was the undefeated former Light Heavyweight king who had defeated Larry Holmes not once, but twice. So for Tyson to see him off as quickly and as devastingly as he did was truly impressive by anyone's standards.

Spinks was a very good fighter, even at that stage of his career and even despite his damaged knee. He possessed such an untidy and unorthodox style that landing clean punches on him - or anticipating his shots - was an incredibly difficult thing to do. No amount of sparring could prepare you for a Michael Spinks. I also thought he was good value for both victories over Larry, whereas I often hear them referred to as robberies. Absolutely not.

The Tyson haters' biggest mania is Spinks wasn't heavyweight.
But these losers have zero problem when Bowe beat a 205 pounds
Evander or w. k. beat Haye. The Tyson version Spinks was heavier than the Bowe 1 version Holyfield and the w.k version Haye .
Plus Haye or Holyfield did nothing special before the klitschko or
the Bowe fight. Was Haye's knee problematic Valuev
or the Evander's out of shape fat Douglas win so big thing ?
I doubt it. Spinks' 2 Holmes wins are better than anything from Haye
    or Holyfield.

or when vitali got destroyed by a former MW, no less.

or when wlad got destroyed easily by journeymen retirees who shouldn never have been lent title shots.

Mike beat the guy in front of him....the "other" heavyweight champion...any excuses are cheap excuses. Tyson destroyed Spinks and deserves the maximum credit for it...period.
