Thug Rose is a very skilled boxer, look like crap in her last fight though, Izzy is another good boxer but can`t go to that higher gear to finish opponents, he also looked bad in a boxing match several years back.
No, it shows how overrated their boxing skills are, in an MMA fight Silva would have kicked the hell out of Paul and Khabib would have beat him in around 30 seconds.
Whitaker isn`t a more skilled boxer than Jake but would probably be too big, Jake looked tiny v Silva.
The only relevance the WWE thing really has is that it gave him the name value which allowed him to be fast tracked into MMA in a way that wouldnt have happened otherwise. I mean, he played in the NFL as well briefly. Does it really change anything regarding his fighting ability? Again, literally a division 1 national wrestling champ at HW (btw the profile and credibility he got from that was why the WWE signed him) so basically really high level at probably the most important single skillset someone could have for transferring to MMA. Yes he didnt go to the MMA until a lot later but considering he was pretty quiet for years after leaving the WWE i'd assume he was training for MMA a lot longer than people realise in preparation. Then add to that that hes obviously a complete ****ing monster physically. Hes arguably the best HW athlete to ever compete at a high level in combat sports. I agree, but they're not boxers so who cares really? all that really matters is who wins in an MMA fight. A lot of MMA guys could beat boxers in a stand up fight anyway as long as kicks and knees are allowed.
Plenty of 40+ MMA fighters who would put that clown in a body bag. Kharitonov would send him to the morgue.
The point that was being made was that Brock had been a real combat sportsman before joining the WWE, meaning he was more capable of competing in the UFC than most other WWE performers.
Pro wrestling is scripted, a lot of MMA fighters are black belt BJJ practitioners, they would destroy any WWE "wrestler" who didn`t have an amateur wrestling background.
