Hopefully he moves back down. If he does stay, hopefully his team matches him up carefully.

Let's be honest. It doesn't matter what weight class he stays at, he's gonna be outboxed at the elite level. Pretty much any top 10 fighter will easily outpoint him and his only hope be that one lucky KO punch.

did he vacated his 140 title...
it do makes sense on urango if he wants to go back to 140 as champ or be a gatekeeper at 147

I don't see him as elite.

I just think with the right opponents, he can be in entertaining fights. Not every fighter has to be elite to enjoy a fight

No he didn't vacate it. I think he just got a good amount of money to fight Berto, more money than he would of made fighting some unknown or mandatory at 140.

Good for him..he seems like a decent sort...now, get back to '40 and learn to use a proper 'converted orthodox' jab. Some work on improving his footwork (changing speeds, foot positions) would help as well.

Like I said before the fight, it was a stupid move by Urango's camp to take a step up in weight and take away his greatest advantages which are strength and power. :patsch

He'll do much better at 140, but his stock took a dive last night because of this.

Urango's inside game, Or lack there of was very disappointing.
He might be slow, But he can crack..... Just needs to be active.
(& Try to devolp and inside game, will eliminate alot of clinching)

I'd like to see him Vs. any of the non runners in either 140/147lbs.

No. :nono Keep him at 140. He's not good enough to compete with the best at 147... let him stay and duke it out with lesser fighters at 140 where his physical talents come out best.

Anyone surprised at how strong Urango was??? The guy is a freakin bull. Berto is a strong guy himself but Urango seemed to out muscle him and had Berto running all night. With that said, Urango has some serious deficiencies, one being speed and the other is overall agility. He is very predictable... the guy is brute force though.
