Needs to beat a lot more quality fighters before i reconsider.Even though it might not be his fault these fights are not happening i cannot rate him until i see a lot more. And no, beating Dubois is not an impressive scalp
Was he fk .. he totally dismantled Bellew. The stupid Brit media over hyped Bellews success in that fight. You can cite any fighter in history and I bet you can find a fight where they have dropped a couple of rounds to a lesser fighter so what? What Usyk has done in 20 fights is amazing.. its actually unmatched. Even Fury wants no part .. he's a generational fighter.
Yes he is, but not much, just a tad Great fighter, but resume wise he comes up short compared to top 10 ATG's even when including his cruiser wins
Did Huck hold his own with a prime Povetkin? Did Michael Hunter beat Bakole, Kuzmin and drew with Povetkin? Yeah they did. So WTF are you talking about?
Even if it wasn't impressive to you, the man has two wins over Anthony Joshua, which means, he's not overrated at Heavyweight. You can't just waltz into a division and beat on of its kingpins twice if you're overrated. Sure, maybe AJ got a tad bit overrated, I was one of his most vocal critics. But at this point, he's being vastly underrated by most. Also, I think we can all agree that, most boxers have styles that give them issues and when they face an opponent with said style, they end up looking subpar. Yet what are we supposed to chalk that up to? Are we supposed to ignore all of the times they looked impressive against superior opponents and assume that was a fluke? Or are we to look the poor performance against an average opponent who also happens to be stylistic nightmare and chalk it up as a one off bad night at the office, due to that fighter possessing a style that give them problems? Obviously it's option number 2. Either that or we negate Fury's wins over Wlad and Wilder because he had a poor showing against McDermott and Wallin. Negate all of Wlad's far superior wins because of Brewster, Puritty and Sanders.
You called Usyk beating Joshua for almost a decade before it happened. I remember you posted Joyce vs Usyk - my Ukrainian boy always thought Joshua would beat Usyk but after seeing the fight between Usyk and Joyce his mind changed.
Yes he’s best win is against a guy who lost to a small fat fighter who knocked AJ several times and made him quit !
One of my first big calls and threads on here. That should've been an indication to all..... I'm built different. Also predicted Inoue would be an ATG. That's awesome, hopefully he made some easy cash on Usyk.
Who also has KO wins against Klitschko, Povetkin, Pulev, Whyte, Takam, and UD wins over Parker, Franklin and the guy who beat him Ruiz. Are we supposed to pretend like the guy with perhaps the best resume at Heavyweight, is now a bum, because of one bad showing, against an aforementioned stylistic nightmare? A few were warning that he needed to be very wary against Ruiz, because Ruiz had the style to beat him. Including myself, who predicted Ruiz would KO him and in the 7th and @kirk, another mod gave serious consideration to picking Ruiz. Because we both know how this sport works far better than you and anyone who uses that bull**** line of reasoning.
