Well based on his last performance it's a resounding no from me

Maybe that’s how it will turn out. But he’ll still have at least another $100 million in his bank account, if he keeps on fighting. I think it’s definitely worth it.

    No.

Currently, Usyk IS the elite level.

When he's done, ( and he will get there) the elite level drops a few bars.

Boxing ebbs and flows just like it's always done.

    Apart from PPV prices...

    ;)

Nelson thinks he would've beaten Usyk as well. This is where his constant dismissive tone comes from - beyond delusion.

There’s years of footage on YouTube of Nelson slating Usyk. Bellew being technically better than him takes some beating.

Isn’t Usyk the undefeated, undisputed heavyweight champion of the world?

    He was last I checked.

Johnny Nelson consistently sounds like a crazy man.

Not done, but most definitely losing parts of his game at 38. However, he has the IQ to make the necessary adjustments for a little more longevity. I doubt he’ll get the credit due for beating Dubois again at this stage in ‘both’ their careers but depending on performance I think he’ll need to consider his final move. I hope to god it’s not the money grab unwanted trilogy v Fury but hey, I wouldn’t be able to turn down the sort of money either that secures your family for generations to come.

Theres currently 3 interim champs and Dubois.

Usyk is 7-0 at HW. Kabayel is 26-0 at HW and Wardley is 19-0 at HW. Daniel Dubois started his career 15-0 at HW and Parker started 24-0. Every other HW champ was undefeated for more than twice as many fights.

Usyk might have the best 5 fight win streak at heavyweight ever, and he's beaten 4 of the best heavyweights in the world so far, Chisora, Dubois, Fury and aj if you consider him good, but i think several heavyweights could beat aj and Chisora. He's only missing Parker and Kabayel. Everyone else are game contenders but not really proven

Usyks lost like 20 rounds during that win streak.

It seems that way because no ones gotten chances at the top circle in years. Its why I'm so hesitant to elevate Dubois just because he happened to get a chance. Theres a huge backlog. No one really seperates from the pack but its a giant pack. Watch in 4-5 years we're going to have a ton of 40 year olds popping out of nowhere and people are going to ask "where were they?". They were collecting dust and waiting thats what.

I actually agree about the backlog. When Usyk retires we will have a chance to see how a prime Daniel Dubois fairs against the rest of the contenders. He's still in his late 20s

Further he faced in his entire hw career just 5 opponents , three of this 5 were witherspoon , old chisora and pre prime dubois . His wins over aj and fury were remarkable and his CW career amazing but at hw his overall legacy is just funny .
