I'm surprised you hadn't heard...

 

Yeah, it was only one interview and who knows what Usyk might have thought the word "toughest" meant. Physically tough? He said in the multiple other ones that the Fury fight was his hardest. Or maybe he just likes to troll. He also said Chisora was the hardest puncher he faced.

 

I'm certainly not going to spend time trying to analyze it. He said what he said.
Chisora ostensibly did as well if not better than Joshua, Dubois and Fury (in Usyk/Fury II).

 

He didn't do better than AJ II, where the fight was pretty much even until the 10th. The rest yeah, sure.

 

Funny to me that any man would use the word consistently in a criticism against Usyk.

Consistently found a way to win regardless bruh.

 

Usyk outlanded Chisora in 9 out of 12 rounds with 1 even. That doesn't seem like a close fight and certainly not as lose as Fury 1 or Joshua 1.

Usyk outlanded Joshua in 9 out of the 12 rounds in their 2nd fight and Joshua landed less punches than Chisora overall in both fights.

Usyk outlanded Fury in 10 out of the 12 rounds in their 2nd fight.

Objectively only the 1st fight Fury was closer.

 

Yeah to my surprise CompuBox had Uysk winning 10 rounds but I do think Fury only winning a round in that fight is harsh.
