Is Usyk packing a glass jaw?

He was totally unfazed by Bellew’s ‘power’ - I don’t think he has a weak jaw at all. Think he’s very tough actually.

 

He hasn't even been rocked or knocked down...
And Bellew had laid some guys out cold.

Being stun is one thing, being truly hurt is another.
And anyone can get hurt. There are only a handful of truly iron chinned monsters.

 

1. Wlad didn't have a glass jaw. He was gassed badly against Puritty and Brewster and took some monsterous punches from them without going down, especially from Brewster who was very hard puncher. The only time his jaw looked really bad was fight against Corrie Sanders, who was a huge puncher.

2. Bellew hits hard. Especially at this weight.

3. Usyk faced a lot of huuge punchers in the amateurs and never was visibly hurt by the punch to the head - Madjidov, Nistor, Joyce, Beterbiev and others. In the pros he took best punches from Briedis, who knocked out cold 250 lbs heavyweight Manuel Charr. He also took well huge right hand flush to the jaw from Murat Gassiiev in rounds 4. Glowacki, Huck and Hunter aren't feather-fisted guys either.

4. Of course Usyk can be knocked out at HW. But not because he has a glass jaw - because top guys there (Wilder and Joshua) are monsterous punchers.

Bellew seems to have some respectable power imo. But not been punched by him so can’t say

 

Have you ever thought about managing your random thoughts and considered consolidating them all in to one easily accessible thread rather than a new thread everytime you think? Im surprised there isnt threads of yours on here about toast, shopping, porn and toothbrushes.

 

Gassiev is a big puncher as is Breidis.
Glowacki has a fast accurate left hand.
Huck is heavy handed.
Bellew has pop.
Hunter seems to have some sting to his punches.

He hasn't really faced a feather fisted fighter yet lol

 

It's self evident at this point that at worst Usyk has an average jaw and at best his jaw is a measure above average.

Buzzed a few times??? Really??? If you mean by "Buzzed" that he reacted to getting hit then I agree otherwise I would go re watch the fight because he wasn't troubled at all..

He got hit a few times against Bellew, but he was never caught flush so it's hard to say.

 

Why do we continue to entertain dumb threads like this. I thought most of the "chin checkers" that made this place a cesspool for a few years had gone for good but I see there's still the odd idiot making these stupid threads.
