I'm not sure this would be the best path for Usyk at this point tbh. Think he should have some proper fights at HW after his first real one fell apart. I think right now Joshua will beat him. He's a warrior though so I fully expect him to take the fight if he gets the chance.
Probably needs another fight or two to get acclimated to heavyweight, but if AJ’s new cautious fighting style is here to stay, Usyk should have an easier go of it. Boxing a boxer would be to Usyk’s advantage.
I doubt Ruiz is any more powerful than Usyk, so he should take the fight asap. Joshua is packing fine crystal.
That puny Usyk will make Joshua look like a monster again when he's KOed in 6 rounds! Watch for the bodybuilder to start bulking up in size again! lol
The only thing Usyk is ready for is his multi-million dollar paycheck which is the reason they want to fastrack him to a title shot.
I think now is a great time for Usyk to step in with AJ. He doesnt need to bulk up much more if at all, and is in his absolute prime. AJ is fresh off of a not so scary performance where he boxed beautifully but was hardly a destroyer. Usyk should seize the day
TBF though Ruiz isn’t a big puncher by big pinching standards either. Outside of AJ he’s not stopped iirc anyone of note.
Usyk will be in the best shape of his life and rise to the occasion like he always does. Joshua is getting the **** schooled out of him. Usyk by UD or late stoppage. Can’t wait!
I can see Usyk using his footwork and getting some good angles to land shots on AJ. Usyk will be a lot harder to land the jab on than fatso. If he can hurt Joshua sometime after the 5th. He can stop him.
