Is Usyk ready for Joshua at HW yet?

Usyk was getting lit up by Tony Bellew of all people. Usyk is rated so highly for what? Beating a bunch of fellow Eurobums at cruiserweight? AJ dominates him. No question or doubt in my mind.

 

So getting lit up by the guy who ko'd Haye?? Must have a tremendous chin then...

He also beat Hunter who was America's finest Cruiser who seems to be happy not dieting now fighting at HW..

 

If AJ boxes the way he did in Dubai, Usyk stands no chance.... Best he can hope for is to finish the fight on his feet and make it home to see his family

 

Interesting that the same people who are gassing up Hunter as an elite HW.

Are the same people who think Usyk isnt good enough or big enough to beat an elite HW

Despite the fact as you say Usyk already beat Hunter, a guy they gas up.

 

Yes people he's ready, relax.... He's been in the ring with Gassiev, who hits just as hard as AJ, and he took a few of his best shots well... he's got a chin... except AJ isn't as fast as Gassiev... so it will be no problem for Usyk.

 

Joshua will try to KO Usyk from the first bell ring. He's not going to box the guy who's smaller than him.

 

Then he`ll leave himself open to counters, Usyk is a better counter puncher than anyone AJ has faced.

 

A cruiserweight cannot hit as hard as a powerful heavyweight.

 

AJ is not as skilled as Usyk, he has to knock him out.

 

Nobody can dominate Usyk, it will be a close affair one way or another, AJ`s got to get through that high guard and will have problems with the southpaw stance.

 

AJ doesn't have to worry about Usyk's counter puncher because the latter is not a hard hitting fighter.

 

Sure, why not. He's just getting older, he won't take a better punch or hit much harder just by fighting other HWs, he would be used to sparring a bit heavier while ticking over and has been at 'HW' weight for a bit now too. I don't see how he adapts anymore than he can already just by having other fights. If he can't hurt them or gets hurt too easily than that's how it is. Might as well dive in. Also, why risk getting derailed by a B fighter who lands a good one.

 

Id like to see him in against someone like Chisora first.
