A champion not facing some of his top contenders is not comparable to a title holder failing to unify against the other title holders.

 

There is no strawman in it. Joshua couldn't get Wilder and Fury in the ring because they turned him down to face each other. That idiot Wilder admitted as much thinking he was making a point for himself.

Joshua never got to the stage where he proved himself as the divisional champion.
